Okonjo-Iweala nominated by Buhari for WTO DG

President Muhammedu Buhari has named previous money serve, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, for the situation of chief general of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Subsequently, Buhari has revealed having endorsed the designation of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as the chief general of WHO, The Cable Report.

Following the report, Iweala’s assignment was endorsed by the president on Thursday, June 4.

Consequently, Buhari pulled back the application of Yonov Frederick Agah, Nigeria’s lasting agent to WTO, for a similar position, the Cable added.

The political race is booked to hold in Geneva, Switzerland in 2021 for a four-year term that would run from 2021 to 2025.
