Sunday Igboho Threatens to Expose Politicians Behind Oyo Student Abductions
Sunday Igboho has issued a chilling warning to expose politicians behind the Oyo student abductions. The Yoruba activist made this declaration at his Ibadan residence. GossipShop breaks it down for you right now.
Igboho spoke directly to newly elected NANS officials led by Akinteye Babatunde. He expressed deep frustration over how Oyo State handled the crisis. His words were sharp, direct, and loaded with intent.

However, this story goes deeper than one angry activist making noise. Forty-seven students were abducted in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. That number alone should shake every conscience in Nigeria.
Sunday Igboho Exposes Politicians Funding Bandits in Oyo
Igboho made a bold and explosive claim during the meeting. He said politicians are directly supplying bandits with ammunition and money. And here is the thing — he says he knows their names personally.
“I know the politicians behind them,” Igboho declared without blinking. He warned that they must stop their evil acts immediately. Otherwise, he will call them out publicly one by one.
Furthermore, Igboho revealed he offered to personally lead a raid on the kidnappers’ hideouts. He claimed the Seyi Makinde administration resisted his offer. He also insisted he never requested a single kobo from the government for the rescue.
The kidnappers allegedly threatened to kill all victims if Igboho forced his way in. This threat came through the Oyo State government as a warning. Igboho dismissed their firepower and called their bluff openly.
“If I am permitted to burst into the hideouts, they will flee,” he said boldly. He argued that bandits are human beings who can be dislodged. Let that sink in — he believes the state government is the real obstacle.
Igboho Links Oyo Abductions to National Political Sabotage
Meanwhile, Igboho did not stop at local politicians. He connected the Oyo crisis to a wider plan to destabilize Nigeria. He compared the situation directly to what happened under former President Jonathan.
“The same thing they did to Jonathan is what they are doing to Tinubu,” he stated. He accused certain political figures of deliberately engineering insecurity to undermine the current administration.
