The 2020 edition of MTN Foundation Scholarship is the most talked about among we students now. Its an annual scholarship award that recognizes and rewards qualified high preforming students The scholarship is for full-time second-year students studying in public tertiary institutions like Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education in Nigeria. The Scholarship is aimed at financing School bills among which is School fees and the rest for Brilliant and Excellent students.
It consists of MTN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGIES Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and MTN Schorlarship Scheme for blind Students (MTN SBSS)
Both Scholarships under the Youth Empowerment Cause, are currently in their 9th and 7th phase respectively.

Under both scholarships, eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology related courses and blind students studying in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) across Nigeria are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation as long as they maintain the required grades.
