An update on the incident of abducted five siblings in Pegi community in Kuje area council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to the new report, the kidnapped siblings are Jubril Abdullateef (22), Sherifat Abdullateef (20), Muyidat Abdullateef (13), Nura Abdullateef (18), and Nahimat Abdullateef (9).
They were said to have been kidnapped around 11:00 pm on Monday, November 16 when the gunmen invaded their house in an estate.
A report by Daily Trust indicates that kidnappers have abducted five siblings in Pegi community in Kuje area council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
A neighbour said:
“Their father was not at home as he went to pass the night with his second wife in another house when the gunmen invaded the house.
“And as their mother tried to call neighbours, the gunmen snatched her phone and ordered her and her five children to walk out of the house.”
He said the gunmen operated for over 20 minutes without firing a shot and that before policemen from the Pegi outpost and naval officers arrived at the scene, the gunmen had escaped with the children.
Spokesman of Pegi Community Development Association, Oyedeji Oyetunji, confirmed the incident.
You will recall that at least 15 people were killed on Sunday, November 15 and many others abducted when kidnappers blocked the Kaduna-Abuja expressway around 5 pm
The incident happened around Gidan Busa, a village not far away from Rijana, which is 133 kilometres from Abuja.
It was gathered that nearly 20 vehicles were forced to stop at the bushy and sloppy location when the gunmen laid siege.
Lately,on a daily basis, people are being abducted in their homes, places of work, and on highways.
The situation is now becoming frequent in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
