11-Year-Old Boy Stole and Crashed School Bus during a Chase by the US Police

An Eleven-year-old boy allegedly took a school bus from Progress Head Start where he got in the bus and was able to find out how to start it on his own. The Baton Rouge Police Department reported

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded when a reports of a stolen school bus being driven by a juvenile got to them.

The juvenile was handcuffed after being taken off the bus. Baton Rouge Police Department said the bus was stopped on axis 1700 Greenwell Springs Road.

Reported by the Police department, the 11-year-old juvenile will be on 4 counts charges.

  • Aggravated flight
  • Aggravated damage to property
  • Aggravated assault

One witness narrated that the bus and the line of pursuing police cars passed him along Government Street in Baton Rouge on Sunday morning.

A Baton Rouge Police Department spokesperson said the chase started around 10:45 a.m. and has crossed multiple parts of the city Scenic Highway, Airline Highway and Greenwell Springs Road.
As at the reporting time, the officials stated they are unsure of the circumstances and where the child got the bus.
