An explosion has just rocked a gas station in the Baruwa area of Ipaja in Lagos State and and the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
According to Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the explosion occurred around 6 am 8 Oct 2020. He said emergency responders have been mobilized to the explosion site.
This explosion is coming after several explosion has taken place in this nation and in Lagos especially.

However, the cause of this explosion is yet to be ascertained and also not fewer than 8 has been confirmed dead.
Properties worth Millions of naira has been confirmed destroyed.
It was confirmed that the first responders including men of the Lagos Fire Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency have been drafted to the area.
